SPARX

SPARX is a powerful Grid Computing based Render Farm and compute cluster Management tool. SPARX can be used as an in-house renderfarm/cluster management tool or as a remote rendering tool through DUX Soft remote rendering portal www.renderarm.com

Why use SPARX?

Rendering today is the most time consuming and expensive process. It needs a huge IT infrastructure and manpower to use the render farm and maintain the farm performance.  SPARX has been designed to be a single tool which manages the grid to the fullest of its potential.

SPARX reduces manpower cost thru its scene analysis feature which enables the job submitter to check and analyze the file on the fly. And it is the first scheduler which works as a studio render management tool as well as a remote render manager.  That enables a studio to choose both options of rendering within the studio and outside the studio, without having to use two different rendering tools. SPARX also has easy data transfer mechanism and supports pipeline migration from one cluster to another.

Reduced TCO : SPARX provide complete rendering solution, everything you need to get up and rendering is included. With the power of grid computing your rendering speed is increased substantially.  Also with SPARX’s ability to harness unused CPU capacity organizations are able to lower IT cost and accelerates rendering time.

Addons

  • FETCHER is a caching mechanism, designed to speed up the performance of the rendering process on medium and large render farms. It reduces the network I/O and number of direct hits on the storage, by caching the data on a disk or memory cache which is local to the render node. It fetches the next in queue file from the storage and caches it locally during CPU cycles.
  • MULTIPLY is an Integration module sub-set of SPARX that enables virtualization of systems and optimal resource utilization for multi-OS and multi-application environments. Target areas include render optimization and application delivery performance for systems, workstations and servers, running both Windows and Linux jobs, without the need of reboot.
